Who runs this tool?
The Content Notebook is operated by Chrome Video. For questions about how your information is used, email glenn@chromevideo.co.uk.
What information do we handle?
- The messages, notes and photographs you choose to submit, plus the AI replies.
- Technical information such as your IP address used by Cloudflare to apply rate limits and protect the service.
- Verification data processed by Cloudflare Turnstile to help stop automated misuse.
You don't need an account, and this version of the tool doesn't ask for a name or email address to use the coach.
How do we use it?
We use your notes and photos to generate a reply to your request. We also use limited technical information to keep the website working and help prevent bots and abuse. The service does not use submitted notes for Chrome Video email marketing.
Our intended lawful basis for providing and protecting this free tool is our legitimate interests in operating a useful service and keeping it secure. Chrome Video should periodically review this assessment and the personal information people are likely to submit.
Who processes your information?
OpenAI processes the text and images you send to generate AI replies. Cloudflare provides website hosting, request rate limiting and Turnstile verification. These providers may process information internationally under their own applicable data-protection terms and transfer safeguards.
For more detail, see OpenAI's privacy information and Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Is the conversation saved?
Chrome Video hasn't built a database to save notebook conversations. The chat is kept in your browser's memory while you use the page and is normally lost when you reload or close it. You can download a text transcript using the export button. Uploaded photos are not included as image files in that transcript.
The API requests to OpenAI use the store: false setting, but OpenAI may still retain prompts and replies in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its standard policy, or longer in some circumstances. Cloudflare may also retain security and technical logs according to its service settings and policies.
Cookies and verification
This version does not include a marketing pixel or advertising tracker. Cloudflare Turnstile and hosting security may use cookies or similar technical signals to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic. The tool doesn't use browser storage to keep your conversation between visits.
What should you avoid sharing?
Please don't upload passwords, private customer information, financial records, medical information, or photos showing other people's personal details. Remove names, addresses and phone numbers from work notes before submitting them.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, object to or restrict processing of personal data. Email glenn@chromevideo.co.uk if you'd like to ask a question or make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
